On April 8th, Vastari co-founders Francesca Polo and Bernadine Brocker Wieder will teach a class at Christie’s Education near Rockefeller Center.

The day-long Touring Exhibition Masterclass aims to demystify the global exhibition market through in-depth analysis of exhibition proposals, touring and loan contracts, and museum survey data. A first of its kind, the course will clarify the process for securing collaborations and the key rules of the exhibition industry. Guest speakers from Crozier shipping and Mishcon de Reya law firm will speak on shipping, loan, and touring agreements.

It has been exciting to see the interest in the course. Several attendees are even flying into NYC from the US and Canada.

Vastari will then attend The Art Business Conference on April 9th. This one-day conference for art market professionals includes gallery owners and managers, art advisors, auctioneers, private collectors as well as art focused professional services companies.

The conference will explore key issues affecting the international art market today. Some of the topics include, The Future of Collecting, Conservation, Damage and Coverage, and Export of Art from the UK – challenges for the US purchaser and the Brexit effect.

Vastari will be exhibiting in the business pavilion during the day. This will give attendees the opportunity to learn about our platform and see a demonstration of the technology.

We look forward to meeting a number of art world influencers as well as continuing to expand our business in the United States. If you are interested in speaking to us in New York next week, or any other time for that matter, please get in touch with me at edie@vastari.com.
