Vastari is delighted to announce that Francesca Polo will be taking part in a panel discussion during this year’s ICEE conference in Cape Town, South African from 16-19 November 2015.

This is the 31st annual conference on Exhibition Exchange. The organisation is a sub-committee of the International Council of Museum focussing specifically on temporary exhibitions. The conference took place in Helsinki in 2014, where Vastari presented then-newly-launched VTEN for the first time to the public.

The conference theme: “Get Connected! New Markets, Audiences and Perspectives in Exhibition Exchange” is perfect when discussing the work Vastari has been doing this past year since the launch of VTEN.

At this year’s conference, the International Committee for Exhibitions and Exchange and the South African Museums will provide opportunities for exhibition professionals around the world to exchange ideas, address challenges and best practices concerning the development of new markets, new audiences and new perspectives in the world of touring exhibitions. Their 2015 conference programme will feature thought provoking keynotes, inspiring conference sessions, and behind-the-scenes tours and will also include the ever-popular Market Place of Exhibitions and Ideas.

Francesca will join the section on “New Markets in Exhibition Exchange” in a panel discussion, and will be presenting our Travelling Exhibition Network, the results of our research into the global market for touring exhibitions and the available touring exhibitions we have at the conference.

We look forward to seeing you all in South Africa in November.
